I read this book sometime back. Got it in my shelf today and remembered i really like this book. Thought I would share what I think of the book with you all.

First up, Abbott has got the title right. From page one where successful documentary film maker Evan Casher gets an urgent call from his mother, rushes to meet her and finds her brutally murdered, his nice and easy life is completely shattered. His mother is dead. His dad is missing. Groups of violent people, including the CIA all want him captured. His girl friend has disappeared. No one is what they seem and there is panic all over!

Relentless tension, non-stop action and twisting turns mark the plot that is full of suspense and intrigue and this trend holds right till the surprising and violent climax as the players move all over USA and London trying to unravel the mysterious past that has triggered the turn of events.

There are times when you are stuck at an airport with a book and waiting for that delayed flight to take off. On rare occasions, you actually wish for a delay so that you can keep reading since you cannot just stop turning the pages. This one's meant for the delayed flights.

One suggestion - start the book with time on your hands. "Panic" is meant as a single sitting read!
